Summary
THE HEAT PUMP WATER CHILLERS TO BE DEVELOPED ARE PRIMARILY INTENDED FOR HEATING UP PROCESS WATER TO 343 K (70 DEG C). TWO PROBLEMS ARISE FROM THIS REQUIREMENT AND THE USE OF SCREW-TYPE COMPRESSORS THE SOLUTIONS TO WHICH HAVE AN ESSENTIAL INFLUENCE ON THE REFRIGERANT-OIL CIRCULATION IN THE SETS. DESCRIBED ARE THE PROBLEMS AND THE SOLUTIONS APPLIED TO OIL TREATMENT AND OIL RECIRCULATION FROM THE REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT TO THE COMPRESSOR. INFORMATION ON THE EFFICIENCY IS ALSO GIVEN.
