PROBLEMS OF THE TRANSPORT OF PERISHABLE FOODSTUFFS BY THIN WALL VEHICLES. RESEARCH RESULTS AND PROSPECTS.

PROBLEMES DU TRANSPORT DE DENREES PERISSABLES DANS LES VEHICULES A PAROIS MINCES. RESULTATS ET PERSPECTIVES DE LA RECHERCHE.

Author(s) : AMODIO U.

Summary

THE TRANSPORT BY THIN WALL VEHICLES INVOLVES PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE REFRIGERATION, TO ITS CHARACTERISTICS OF UNIFORMITY, ESPECIALLY WITH REFERENCE TO THE CIRCULATING AIR AROUND THE LOAD. CONTACT BETWEEN LOAD AND LATERAL WALL PLAYS A BASIC ROLE. IT HAS BEEN POSSIBLE TO POINT OUT, BY MEANSOF TESTS AND STUDIES, THAT IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES TAKE PLACE IN BEHAVIOUR BETWEEN THIN WALL VEHICLES AND TRADITIONAL ONES. THEREFORE THEY MUST BE CONSIDERED SEPARATELY IN AN INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT REGULATING THIS KIND OF CARRIAGES.
