BASIC ELEMENTS OF A PHYSICAL MODEL FOR REFRIGERATED VEHICLES. 2. TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION.

Summary

THE FIRST PART OF THIS STUDY < AIR DISTRIBUTION > WAS PRESENTED AT THE XVITH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF REFRIGERATION. THE SECOND PART IS CONCERNED WITH THE EVALUATION OF AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS IN TERMS OF TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION. THE POSSIBILITIES OF INCREASING THE INTERNAL WIDTH OF REFRIGERATED ROAD VEHICLESGIVES RISE TO PROBLEMS OF AIR DISTRIBUTION AND TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN THE CARGO SPACE. THE OPTIMIZATION DEPENDS ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM AND ON THE RESISTANCE OF AIR GAPS. THE RESULTS INDICATE THE PROBLEMS OF AIR CIRCULATION IF AIR GAPS ARE SMALL AND OF AIR DISTRIBUTION IF THEY ARE LARGE.
