Summary

THE PAPER DESCRIBES THE POSSIBLE ENERGY SAVINGS AND TESTS ON THE BUILDING AND OPERATION OF COMBINED HEATING-COOLING PLANT IN BUILDINGS AND WORKSHOPS. ALL THE PLANT DESCRIBED SHOW THE ADVANTAGE OF THE DOUBLE USE OF THE HEATING AND THE COOLING SIDES GIVING A HIGH ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY. THE BASIC ELEMENTS OF THE STUDY AND THE EXECUTION DETAILS ARE SUMMARISED. AN ESTIMATION SHOWS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF COLD WATER PRODUCTION CENTRAL PLANT WITH A COMPOUND CONDENSER AND THE REQUIREMENT OF UP-TO-DATE CONTROL FOR OBTAINING OPTIMUM ECONOMIC RESULTS.
