Summary

This analysis of the development of the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry in France over the next decade is a dissertation made for a French postgraduate diploma. It focuses on individual and collective air conditioning, and on industrial and commercial refrigeration. Seventy-eight parameters were taken into account, and the report presents a synthesis of the answers by a group of experts to more than 6000 questions. These answers, supplemented with historical analysis, delimit the main factors of market development and define the possible challenges and scenarios.
