Summary

The recent Italian D.L.vo 626/94 requires the definition of quantitative methods for environmental evaluations in workplaces. This paper proposes a protocol for the evaluation of moderate thermal environments, with reference to ISO 7726 and ISO 7730 standards. These standards have already been accepted by CEN, as EN 27726 and ISO-EN 7730, and will be published in Italian translation as UNI standards. The protocol uses five forms for objective evaluation plus, if necessary, a questionnaire.
