ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONAL VALUES OF THE PHYSICAL CONSTANTS OF R134A, WITH THIS FLUID, THE REFRIGERATING CAPACITY AND THE REFRIGERATING EFFICIENCY ARE INFERIOR TO THOSE OBTAINED WITH R12. AS FAR AS THE THERMAL EXCHANGE IN IN-TUBE BOILING AND CONDENSING IS CONCERNED, THE AVERAGE INTERNAL COEFFICIENTS OF R134A ARE SUPERIOR TO THOSE OF R12, WHICH PARTIALLY COMPENSATES FOR THE REDUCTION IN THE REFRIGERATING EFFICIENCY.
