Summary

A SIMULATION MODEL OF A GAS-FIRED, BIVALENT PARALLEL AIR-TO-WATER ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP WITH LITHIUM BROMIDE-ZINC BROMIDE-METHANOL AND A < CONDENSING > BOILER FOR DOMESTIC HEATING IS PRESENTED. BECAUSE OF THE LOW PRESSURE OF THE MIXTURE, ALL COMPONENTS ARE CONSTRUCTED AS HORIZONTAL TUBE BUNDLES OVER WHICH LIQUID FLOWS IN FALLING FILMS. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS FOR THE MIXTURE HEAT EXCHANGER WHICH IS PLATE TYPE.
