Summary

In the service building sector, the penetration rate of air conditioning has nearly doubled in 5 years. Thus, this market is promising. In individual air conditioning, the French market is steady, dominated by split-systems, reversible air conditioners appear to promise a good future; flexible systems are above all an appealing product for future fixed installations; the mainly small installers, make an effort to become educated but remain inadequately competent in maintenance contracts. Air conditioning of computer rooms recorded another drop of which the reasons are explained. Centralized air conditioning regresses, except fan-coil units and water loop heat pumps; air treatment and chilled water production units register an uncertain development according to the product ranges.
