Summary
Presents an investigation of the thermal performance of a non-conditioned building fitted with an IEC, in terms of hourly, monthly and seasonal discomfort index. Investigates the effect of various design parametres of the IEC on the discomfort index for three different climatic areas of India: hot/dry, warm humid and composite. Presents the results and states the analysis shows that the IEC is effective for thermal comfort conditions in buildings in hot/dry and composite climates.
