THE MEASURING AND CONSTRUCTING OF A SUITABLE CLEANING INSTALLATION IS DESCRIBED AND THE LIMITS OF ITS EFFECTIVENESS ARE SPECIFIED. THERE SHOULD BE NO SPECIAL PROBLEM FOR THE REFRIGERATIONIST IN TREATING RECOVERED REFRIGERANT HIMSELF. THE NECESSARY INSTALLATIONS ARE INEXPENSIVE AND ARE MADE UP OF ORDINARY COMPONENTS. REFRIGERANT THUS RECYCLED SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED TO MEET THE SAME STANDARDSAS NEW REFRIGERANT.
