Summary
In the Netherlands, an important aim of the governmental policy concerning the CFC issue is to reduce the refrigerant emission due to leakage of refrigeration systems. National regulations related to design, commissioning, operation, maintenance and competence are in force since March 1993. The main elements of these regulations are presented.
