Summary
The paper presents the results obtained in the refrigeration industry during the last ten years. The average greenhouse gas emission level was reduced from 30% in 1990 to 6% in 2000. New regulations and recommendations are presented; efforts have been made to develop a "Good Practice Guidance" for refrigeration system designers.
