GRAIN STORED IN BULK IS SUBJECTED TO VENTILATION WITH COOLED AIR AT TEMPERATURES LETHAL TO THE MAIN PESTS. IN ORDER TO BE ECONOMIC, THIS TREATMENT SHOULD BE DONE IN HEAT-INSULATED STORAGE TANKS AND COOLING AIR SHOULD BE RECIRCULATED.
