Summary
The commercial air-conditioners and freezing-refrigerating equipment used in retail stores are in continuous operation year-round and as a result require high power consumption. Therefore, use of high energy-saving equipment can have a great impact on profit improvement. Based on this thought, the authors have developed an energy-saving integrative system for small-scale stores, the outdoor unit of air-conditioner and that of freezer-refrigerator are integrated. The refrigerant circuit is integrated to control temperature at the cascaded heat exchanger, and the systems are operated in coordination by using dedicated showcases.
