Refrigeration performance study on pulse tube refrigerator with mixed fluids driven by thermoacoustic engine.

Author(s) : CHEN G. B., TANG K., JIN T., et al.

Summary

Based on the estimation of thermodynamic properties of binary noble gas fluids, He-Ar mixtures are used as working fluids to improve the refrigeration performance of a pulse-tube refrigerator driven by a self-made thermoacoustic engine. Experimental results are reported in detail and some discussion is provided.
