Summary

Based on the methodology presented in the standard prEN441, the article analyzes the effect of ambient conditions and of the load on the performances of an open refrigerated display case. An attempt is made to identify an indicator of breakdown in open display cases that would be based on the measurement of the difference between the air temperature at the inlet and outlet.
