RELATIONS BETWEEN STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF CHLOROFLUOROALKANES.

RELATIONS ENTRE LA STRUCTURE ET LES PROPRIETES DES CHLOROFLUOROALCANES.

Author(s) : BERTHE B.

Summary

THE AUTHOR HAS SHOWN UP THE INFLUENCE OF TWO FACTORS: THE ALPHA POLARISABILITY AND THE MU DIPOLAR MOMENT OF MOLECULES ON THE PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF FLUIDS. INSIDE THEIR STUDY, THE DIPOLAR MOMENT IS MERELY CONDITIONED BY THE FACT THERE IS AN HYDROGEN ATOM OR NOT. ITS PRESENCE ALLOWS TO EXPLAIN THE GREATEST WATER SOLUBILITY, THE SUPERHEAT TENDENCY, AND A GREATEST LATENT STEAM-GENERATING-HEAT REFERING TO THE UNIT OF MASS.
