RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THERMAL, MECHANICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL PROPERTIES IN CELLULAR INSULANTS.

RELATION ENTRE LES PROPRIETES THERMIQUES, MECANIQUES ET MORPHOLOGIQUES DES ISOLANTS CELLULAIRES.

Author(s) : GONZALEZ F.

Summary

MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS HAVE BEEN RELATED TO THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND ELASTIC MODULUS FOR CELLULAR INSULATING MATERIALS. FROM THIS, SOME EQUATIONS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED THAT PERMIT THE EVALUATION OF THESE PROPERTIES AS A FUNCTION OF MORPHOLOGICAL PARAMETERS. IT IS HOPED THAT THEY CAN BE USEFUL TO FIND INSULATING MATERIALS WITH GOOD MECHANICAL RESISTANCE.
