Residential ventilation and latent loads.
Author(s) : LSTIBUREK J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Adding outdoor air in hot, humid climates sometimes causes moisture problems. It all depends on the condition of the house before outdoor air is added. In fact, most houses in hot, humid climates are over-ventilated due to duct leakage and induced air change from internal air pressure effects. The aim of the paper is to explain the phenomenon and provide some recommendations to lower or avoid these drawbacks.
