THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE EQUIPMENT USED AND REPORTS THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN CRYOTHERAPY IN DOG DURING THE 1981 YEAR, EITHER IN DERMATOLOGY (PAPILLOMAS), IN ORL (CRYOTONSILLECTOMIA AND GINGIVAL PAPILLOMA), IN PROCTOLOGY (CIRCUMANALOMA, RECTAL POLYPI). ALMOST ALL APPLICATIONS WERE EFFICIENT. COMPARISON OF ADVANTAGES (FOR THE PATIENT AND THE VETERINARY SURGEON) AND DRAWBACKS (FOR THE PATIENT, THE MASTER AND THE THERAPEUTIST) OF CRYOTHERAPY. A GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE MECHANISMS OF CELL AND TISSUE DESTRUCTION BY COLD IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR THE PRACTITIONER USING CRYOTHERAPY. G.G.
