THE VAV SYSTEM USES PACKAGED ROOFTOP UNITS WITH STANDARD AIR DIFFUSION AND ELECTRIC BASEBOARD RADIATION AROUND THE PERIMETER;THE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM INCLUDES CEILING MOUNTED UNITS AND NO LOW LEVEL PERIMETER RADIATION. SINCE OWNING AND ENERGY COSTS ARE SIMILAR FOR THE TWO SYSTEMS, THE SELECTION MUST BE MADE ON BUILDING OPERATION AND OCCUPANCY.
