Summary

In computer centers high heat loads from machines must be cooled yearround. Cooling is done partly by water, partly by air. Supply air is preferably carried into the room through a false floor and is carried out through the ceiling. For air treatment there are two different systems possible: central processing of all the supply air, and direct air cooling using sensitive coolers, set up in the computer room. The principle of displacement ventilation is explained. L.P.
