Summary

This article is the Spanish translation of an article presented at the IIR meeting in Castá Papiernicka, Czech Republic (see Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2007-0155). Enhanced vapour injection cycle together with its system components and internal design of scroll compressors with vapour injection connection for economizer operation are presented. Key parameters and their relationship for determining high system efficiency are described. The theoretical and actual gains in capacity and COP using this cycle for various refrigerants are compared. Field experience with a supermarket refrigeration system and a heat pump system are also presented.
