THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES HOW TO SPECIFY AND PREPARE THE SPECIFICATIONS WHICH ARE NECESSARY FOR THE INSTALLATIONS FOR COLD STORES. MUCH OF THIS WORK SHOULD BE DONE IN COOPERATION WITH THE OWNER, ARCHITECT AND CONSULTANT AND START VERY TIMELY TO REACH THE PROPER DECISION. DISCUSSED ARE THE DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS, THE SELECTION OF POSSIBLE SUPPLIERS OF THE EQUIPMENT, EVALUATION OF QUOTATIONS AND AWARDING OF THE CONTRACT.
