Self-contained sensors.

Les capteurs autonomes.

Type of article: Article

Summary

Built-in sensors are tight autonomous devices used to measure the temperature and/or the pressure, which integrate the following components inside a single case: a full measuring chain, a data storage capacity and a battery. Once the sensor has been programmed via an interface linked to a computer in order to determine its frequency, the start and sometimes the end of acquisition, it becomes independent and can be placed in the process to measure ambient parameters or in a package to measure the pasteurizing or sterilizing values. Measurements are then recovered via the same interface then handled by specific processing software, which can transfer the data onto a spreadsheet.
