Type of article: Article
Summary
A simplified model developed to evaluate a radiant cooled space is described. The model has been verified by examining the effective radiation area factor of the model. After this, skin temperature and thermal resistance of clothing on the body were defined on the basis of measured values of a real subject. Finally, the fact that the model is applicable to the simulation of the thermal response of a real subject is verified.
