Summary
A numerical model of a gas engine-driven heat pump (GEHP) system was established. The environmental characteristics and partial load characteristics of the system under the heating condition were analyzed with the present model. The numerical results show that the PER (primary engine ratio) decreases with the increase of the engine speed and thus the system has good partial load characteristics. The experiment on the GEHP system with double pipelines was conducted and the results show that the experimental data are consistent with the predictions.
