Summary
A simulation of a compressed-air refrigeration dryer is described in this paper, focused on the temperature, moisture content and pressure drop of compressed air in the precooler and evaporator of the compressed air circuit. The main parameters were tested. The calculation results and the test data agree well, and this shows the reliability of the model used in this paper. It was found that installing two separators is necessary to avoid the pressure dew point rising again and to ensure the drying effect.
