SIMULATION STUDY OF THE PERFORMANCE STABILITY OF A SOLID ADSORPTION SOLAR REFRIGERATOR.

ETUDE PAR SIMULATION DE LA STABILITE DES PERFORMANCES D'UNE MACHINE FRIGORIFIQUE SOLAIRE A ADSORPTION SOLIDE.

Author(s) : ADELL A., GROMB S.

Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

THE AUTHORS INVESTIGATED THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT FACTORS ON THE REFRIGERATING EFFICIENCY OF A REFRIGERATOR USING THE ZEOLITE 13X-WATER COUPLE (AMOUNT OF ZEOLITE PER M2 OF COLLECTOR, SOLAR RADIATION, EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE, CLOUD SPELLS). THE RESULTS SHOWED GREAT STABILITY OF PERFORMANCE WHICH IS CLOSE TO OPTIMUM POSSIBILITIES. THE PROBLEM OF MASS PRODUCTION CAPABLE OF DECREASING COSTS CAN BE ENVISAGED.
