Summary
Based on a 3-D unsteady heat conducting mode and a 1-D liquid heat transfer mode, this paper establishes the heat transfer mode of multi-tube earth-air tunnel by using the finite difference method. It verifies the correctness of this mode by a comparison between simulated and test data. It develops a simplified method with a modified temperature and it analyses the influences of tube number, depth of buried tube and tube spacing on cooling potential of multi-tube earth-air tunnels.
