SIMULTANEOUS HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER WITH PHASE CHANGE IN A POROUS SLAB HAS BEEN ANALYTICALLY INVESTIGATED. TWO SPATIALLY-STEADY REGIMES, CORRESPONDING TO IMMOBILE AND MOBILE CONDENSATE, ARE DISCOVERED. CLOSED-FORM ANALYTICAL EXPRESSIONS FOR THE TEMPERATURE, VAPOUR CONCENTRATION, CONDENSATION RATE AND LIQUID-CONTENT DISTRIBUTIONS AS WELL AS THE LOCATION OF THE CONDENSATION REGION FOR EACH OF THE TWO REGIMES IS OBTAINED.
