Summary

THE SET OF PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONSDESCRIBING MASS AND ENERGY TRANSFER PROCESS IN POROUS BODIES WITH BOUNDARY CONDITIONS OF THIRD KIND WERE SOLVED NUMERICALLY BY MEANS OF A THREE LEVEL IMPLICIT METHOD. THE SOLUTION TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THE DEPENDENCE OF SOLID MATERIAL PROPERTIES ON TEMPERATURE AND MOISTURE CONTENT. THIS PROCEDURE WAS USED TO SIMULATE AIR DRYING PROCESS OF AN INFINITE SOLID SLAB WITH CONSTANT AND VARIABLE DIFFUSIVITY.
