Summary

NOW THAT THE RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR FOR GENERATIONS HAS CONTROLLED THE MARKET OF HERMETIC COMPRESSORS FOR DOMESTIC SYSTEMS, ROTARY COMPRESSORS BASED ON THE FIXED VANE PRINCIPLE ARE ON THE MARKET AGAIN. THE PAPER DESCRIBES THE COMPRESSOR FUNCTION, ITS CHARACTERISTICS AND THE SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS TO BE TAKEN IN THE DESIGN OF THE SYSTEM. IT IS CHARACTERISTIC FOR THE ROTARY COMPRESSOR NOT TO OCCUPY TOO MUCH ROOM IN THE REFRIGERATING APPLIANCE, TO HAVE A LOWER POWER CONSUMPTION, DEMAND MORE EXACT DIMENSION OF THE COOLING CIRCUIT, BE PROPERLY REGULATED AND CAREFULLY ASSEMBLED TO THE CABINET.
