Summary
THE ARTICLE INTRODUCES A NUMERICAL METHOD WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO CALCULATE THE PROFILE OF MILLING CUTTERS FOR MANUFACTURING SCREWS, AND TO DIMENSION THE SURFACE OF THE ORIFICE THROUGH WHICH THE GASES OF THE TWIN-SCREW COMPRESSORS ARE DISCHARGED. THIS METHOD IS MORE SIMPLE AND OF A WIDER APPLICATION THAN THE CONVENTIONAL METHOD. IT WAS EFFECTIVELY USED TO CALCULATE A TWIN-SCREW COMPRESSOR, AND THE RESULTS OBTAINED ARE SATISFACTORY.
