Sorption assisted dehumidification and evaporative cooling.

Author(s) : BIEL S., STEIMLE F.

Summary

The function of air conditioning systems with sorption-assisted dehumidification and cooling by evaporation of water is influenced by different factors. A precise selection of the components and the knowledge of the parameters affecting the supply air condition are necessary for a perfect operation of the system. Design errors usually lead to uncomfortable room air conditions. The presented results describe the function of air conditioning systems with sorptive dehumidification and evaporative cooling and serve as a guideline for the design of this equipment.
