Summary
The California Energy Commission has a program called Opportunity Technology Commercialization (OTCOM). OTCOM's mission is to effectively increase the market penetration of energy technologies offering compelling energy, environmental, diversity and economic development benefits. Thermal energy storage (TES) as one such technology was studied as far as environmental effects are concerned. Results are given.
