Summary

In this contribution a simplified description of the two phase region of a binary mixture using spline interpolation is presented. This approach can be combined with different multiparameter EoS (Equations of State). A two phase flash algorithm as well as the dew and bubble temperature algorithms are discussed. This approach is exemplified for a mixture of water and ammonia using the equations by Tillner-Roth.
