Summary
THE LIQUID-VAPOUR EQUILIBRIUM TEST DATA FOR 220 BINARY MIXTURES WITH LOW BOILING TEMPERATURE WERE STORED IN A DATA BANK. THE BINARY PARAMETERS WERE COMPARED TO THE MIXTURE LAWS BASED ON FOUR GENERALISED EQUATIONS OF STATE. THE EQUATIONS OF STATE BASED ON THE THEOREM OF CORRESPONDING STATES CAN BE USED FOR THE CALCULATION, WITH SUFFICIENT ACCURACY IN A WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGE, OF THE LIQUID-VAPOUR EQUILIBRIA OF MOST FLUIDS WITH LOW BOILING TEMPERATURES.
