Summary

THE ARTICLE DESCRIBES THE EVOLUTION OF METHODS FOR CALCULATING ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN BUILDINGS, UNDERLINING PARTICULARLY THEIR LIMITS AND USES. THE CONCLUSION IS THAT THE BEST MEANS FOR CHECKING THE PROJECTS SELECTED IN TEMS OF IMPACT ON THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN BUILDINGS, IS THE SO-CALLED < SIMPLIFIED > CALCULATION METHOD. THEN, THE AUTHOR PRESENTS THE CALCULATION METHOD INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD DRAFT CTI 9/124 B, WHICH AIMS AT DETERMINING THE SEASONAL CONSUMPTION OF FUEL AND ELECTRICITY OF AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT. AMONG THE DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS OF THIS METHOD,THE AUTHOR PROPOSES TO USE IT FOR SUPPORTING THE DRAFT 3423, RECENTLY APPROVED BY BOTH CHAMBERS OF THE ITALIAN PARLIAMENT, WHOSE OBJECTIVE IS MAINLY TO INTRODUCE AN ENERGY PROGRAMME FOR A RATIONAL AND ECONOMICAL UTILIZATION OF ENERGY.
