Summary

WHILE CARRYING OUT A TRADITIONAL CALCULATION TO DESIGN AN AIR CONDITIONING INSTALLATION, IT IS STRESSED HOW IMPORTANT ARE THE PARAMETERS OF THE THERMAL INERTIA OF THE BUILDING STRUCTURES (IN PARTICULAR THE DELAY TIME), FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE MAXIMUM HEAT FLOW TO SUBSTRACT FROM THE AMBIENT, AS WELL AS TO HAVE A REAL BALANCE OF ALL THERMAL LOADS INVOLVED. A TABLE IS GIVEN WITH THE CHARACTERISTICS AT VARIOUS THERMAL CONDITIONS OF THE MAIN BUILDING ELEMENTS. THE VALUES GIVEN ARE MAINLY OBTAINED FROM REAL TESTS.
