Summary

THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS THAT SHOULD BE MET IN THE BUILDING OF AIR CONDITIONING PLANT FOR HOSPITALS ARE STUDIED. AS NATIONAL STANDARDS ARE LACKING, THE AUTHORS BRIEFLY REPORT THE STANDARDS ALREADY PUBLISHED IN THE USA AND IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY. THEY ESPECIALLY REFER TO HEAT AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY CONDITIONS AND TO AIR CHANGE CONDITIONS AND NOISE IN PLANT. THE STUDY CONCLUDES WITH SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE MOST SUITABLE TYPES OF PLANT IN TERMS OF THE MOST COMMON TYPES OF BUILDINGS.
