Summary

THE VOLT-AMPERE CHARACTERISTIC OF A SUPERCONDUCTOR-NORMAL METAL-SUPERCONDUCTOR JUNCTION IS CALCULATED. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE NONEQUILIBRIUM STATE OF ELECTRONS WITH ENERGIES OF THE ORDER OF THE INVERSE DIFFUSION TIME IN THE JUNCTION OF THE NORMAL METAL MAY INDUCE STIMULATION OF SUPERCONDUCTIVITY IN THE JUNCTION AND A CHARACTERISTIC INFLECTION ON THE VOLT-AMPERE CHARACTERISTIC.
