THE MOST EVIDENT ADVANTAGES ARE SUMMARIZED: DECREASE IN INSTALLED REFRIGERATION CAPACITY ; ECONOMIC OPERATION DURING NIGHT STORAGE ; GREATER RELIABILITY WITH STAND-BY CAPACITY PROVIDING OPERATING CONTINUITY EVEN AT PEAK TIMES. THE STL SYSTEM USED EUTECTIC SOLUTIONS THAT CAN STORE EITHER SENSIBLE OR LATENT HEAT AT A CONSTANT TEMPERATURE DOWN TO 240 K (-33 DEG C).
