Summary

PROPAGATION OF INTENSE ZERO SOUNDS IN LIQUID 3HE AT A VELOCITY LESS THAN THE FERMI VELOCITY AND GENERATION OF STRONG ZERO SOUND HARMONICS WERE STUDIED. THE CHARACTERISTIC SCALE OF THE HARMONICS GROWTH IS SHOWN TO BE OF THE SAME ORDER OF MAGNITUDE AS THE FUNDAMENTAL WAVE DAMPING LENGTH.
