Summary

ROUND MULTIWIRE SUPERCONDUCTING CABLES AND SUBCABLES, USED IN COMPLEX CABLES, HAVE BEEN STUDIED. THE CALCULATION OF CURRENT DISTRIBUTION BETWEEN THE LAYERS IN A MULTIWIRE SUBCABLE OR CABLE IS GIVEN. THE MAIN PARAMETERS INFLUENCING THE CURRENT DISTRIBUTION ARE THE GEOMETRY OF THE LAYERS, THE DIAMETER OF SUPERCONDUCTING ELEMENTS IN THE LAYERS AND THE RATIO BETWEEN THE VALUES OF EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD AND SUBCABLE CURRENT.
