The effects of precooling (ice-cold 2 plus or minus 1°C water sprays for 45 minutes or storage at 4 °C for 24 hours) and pulsing (2% DMSO for 15 minutes or 3% D-fructose + 150 ppm 8-hydroxyquinoline citrate for 24 hours) on the quality of cut roses from cultivars First Red, Mercedes and Noblesse were studied.
