Summary

The global energy transfer is little affected by distribution problems, but there exists a local heterogeneity of the temperature field. On the other hand, the total pressure loss of the exchanger can be significantly increased in certain cases. An optimization of the geometry of the corrugated channel is proposed, as a function of constraints.
