Summary
A PARAMETRIC STUDY BY A SIMULATION MODEL WAS CARRIED OUT ON THE SUMMER COMFORT OF A DWELLING WITH WINDOWS MAINTAINED CLOSED FOR ACOUSTIC REASONS. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PARAMETERS ARE THE INERTIA, EXPOSURE AND SUN PROTECTION OF GLASSWALLS, VENTILATION RATE, OCCUPANCY RATIO (AND INTERNAL HEAT PRODUCTION). THE APPLICATION OF THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY TO TWO SITES, ONE IN THE PARIS REGION, THEOHEH FRANCE, ENABLES ONE TO DEFINE VALID SOLUTIONS WITH MORE ACCURACY AND SHOWS THE ADVANTAGE OF THE METHOD.
