Summary
Storage in polypropylene sleeves for 18 days did not affect the subsequent vase life of fronds, but this parameter declined when fronds were previously held in polyethylene for 3 days. Thus, storage in polypropylene sleeves has been suggested to prolong the vase life of N. exaltata fronds.
